Enjoy a trailride with Finnhorses and discover the wonderful Finnish art and food
This year Finland is celebrating it’s 100th anniversary as an independent country and Finnhorse as a breed is 110 years old. Polar Lights Tours respects both of these anniversaries by organizing trailriding trips with Finnhorses through the beautiful Lappish forest scenery.
We will start the one-day trip from the stables in the morning and ride following various forest paths and old riding trails. Our destination is a Finnish art gallery Galleria Raekallio, which is also home of the artist Reijo Raekallio. At the gallery we will enjoy a lunch made with Finnish ingredients. We will also get to know Reijo Raekallio’s art which celebrates the most well-known Lappish animal, the reindeer. After the lunch and art we will ride back to the stables to Veitservasa.
